With all of our activities, equipment is provided free of charge. However you will need to bring a towel, tight-fitting swimwear, sunscreen and a drink.

We have two locations. Our surf school and surf hire is in the middle of Porthmeor Beach (TR26 1JZ) and our watersports centre for kayaking, paddleboarding, coasteering and watersports rental is on Porthminster Beach (TR26 2EB).

There are public car parks very close to both locations. However, we advise allowing plenty of item to get a space as parking in St Ives can be difficult during busy times.

Our start times for every activity change every day depending on the tide. All of our times are scheduled to run at the best and safest stage of tide.

All our guides are qualified and experienced beach lifeguards with vast amounts of ocean knowledge. All of our activities are regularly risk assessed to ensure customer safety. We work alongside the RNLI lifeguards on a daily basis and have an immaculate safety record.

We use high quality 5/3mm winter wetsuits made by British surfing company, Alder.

Yes, Porthmeor Beach is patrolled by RNLI lifeguards from Easter to October. Porthminster is patrolled from May to September.

Yes, all of our activities take place in the ocean so getting wet certainly won't be a problem.

Try a beginner surf lesson as this activity takes place in waist deep water and you will have an instructor with you the entire time.

Yes please. Allow 30min to check in, meet your instructor and get into your kit.
