The Gurnard’s Head

Originally built in 1271, it has been at the heart of the village in Zennor for over 700 years. Enjoy the view of the Atlantic coastline from the beer garden or cosy up by the fireplace for a legendary folk night on a Thursday. You must link your visit to the Tinners with the coastal walk from St Ives, and catch the open top bus back, entailing Six and three quarter miles of the best Cornish coast, you’ll deserve that extra drink. 

The Sloop Inn

One of Cornwall’s most famous Inns dating back to 1312 and favourited amongst local Fishermans and Artists. If you want Cornish character, the Sloop will have it, with slate floors, local artists’ work displayed around the walls, and pints served from idyllic cellar bars. Only a cobbled road separating the Sloop from the famous St Ives Harbour, you can sit outside with a local beverage watching the world go by. Live music livens up the bar most evenings all year round and you can’t miss the famous meat draw during the winter months.
